At the beginning of 1990, she started professional dancing and acting at Colorado's Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. In the following year she was in Minnesota, at a local theatre she was chosen to be a part of the mock documentary about beauty contests called Drop Dead Gorgeous. Following her debut on screen as a cute but serious contestant she moved into Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
