Jenna Fischer's most well-known character was that of Pam Beesly from the popular TV show The Office. In recognition of her work, she was awarded an Emmy award for the Best Actress in a Supporting Role and received the award for two SAG Awards.
Jenna was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was a spectator as her mother Anne was in the church stage. Her love for performance and theatre was cultivated at a very young girl.
Fischer was a theatre actress in her own country. She starred with Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway show Reasons for Being Happy. In the following play, she was in Steve Martin's newest show Meteor Shower. It was an absurd comedy piece starring Greg Germann, Josh Stamberg and ran for an unprecedented time at the Old Globe Theatre.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's best friend in real life and Fischer launched with the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf, in October of the year 2019. The podcast soon became popular. Every week, it was in the Top Ten in global downloads and had more than 200 million downloads in its first couple years. Office Ladies, which was first launched in October of 2019 it was nominated for iHeartRadio's Podcast of the Month award for January 2021.
She is the author of two books, The Actor's Life The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide that recounts her experience through St. Louis to Hollywood to become a working actor. She is also the author of Office BFF's: Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends That Were There (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) The book is an account of their most memorable relationship and their time in The Office.
